Hurricane Sandy Update

Hello everyone!  I hope that you're all safe and sound after the hurricane.  The Library closed early yesterday, but has reopened today, albeit a little later than usual.  Please stay safe out there and I'll see you in just a couple of weeks for 11/22/63!

11/22/63 Reading Schedule

Since it's been almost 2 weeks since our meeting, almost everyone knows that our next book is 11/22/63 by Stephen King.  It's got time travel, assassinations, and a little bit of romance- what more could you ask for!

We'll be reading this book for the month of November.  Very timely, don't you think?  Our meeting will be Saturday, November 17th from 1-3pm in the Ladysmith Library Meeting Room.  I'll also be posting our review and discussion questions here on that same day (I promise).  Happy reading!

Watchers Review and Discussion Questions

Just in time for Halloween, Watchers by Dean Koontz is a very scary book!  I will readily admit to reading it only in the daylight after a few too many nightmares.  The review and discussion questions follow below. Beware of spoilers- muahahaha!  (Cheesy-yes, but Halloween appropriate!)

Just wanted to send out a quick reminder that we'll be discussing Watchers in person and online THIS SATURDAY!  The meeting will be from 1-3pm at the Ladysmith Branch Library.  There will be lots of goodies and we hope to see you there- books like this are a little less scary in a crowd!
